Torplan is the dental care plan for The James Main Dental Partnership covering all the services we offer to look after your dental health, which are detailed below.  In addition to this, your monthly payment also includes dental accident cover against the cost of treatment when you are away from home as well as a cash benefit. 

All new patients wishing to join Torplan will be made dentally fit or assessed as being dentally fit before they can be accepted onto the plan. 

You will then be placed in a category ranging from A to E, if any teeth are excluded from the plan you will be informed of this in writing before you start.  As a member of the Torplan Scheme you will pay a monthy amount into the plan and in return, we will :

• Look after your dental health including dental check-ups, visiting the dental hygienist, fillings if needed, crown and bridge work.
  
• Like for like replacement of faulty fillings with necessary new fillings done in amalgam unless teeth to be filled are at the front when they will be white fillings.
  
• 15% discount on all necessary restorations including laboratory work such as crowns, bridges, inlays and dentures.
  
• 10% discount on white fillings when replacement is not for cosmetic reasons.
  
• 5% discount on all cosmetic and dental implant work.
  

Children aged 0 to 4 years receive free treatment once they are registered on the plan

Children up to the age of 13 years receive all routine dental care under Torplan including like for like replacement of fillings with new fillings done in amalgam unless the teeth to be filled are at the front of the mouth, when they will be filled with white fillings.  They will also receive an OhK! (Oral Health for Kids) appointment every year.  This will be a fun appointment where one of our Nurse Educators will help them with their oral health and they will receive a fun pack at the end of their appointment.

Children aged 13 to 18 years have all the benefits an adult receives, plus a 20% discount on all types of gum shields once a year.
